Frequently Asked Questions

Welcome to our Frequently Asked Questions page for The Elite Goalkeeper camp! We understand that signing up for a camp can raise a lot of questions, especially for those new to the sport or new to our program. This page is designed to provide you with answers to the most common questions we receive about our goalkeeper camp, including information on registration, equipment, training, and more. We hope this resource helps you prepare for an exciting and rewarding experience at our camp. If you have any additional questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to contact us directly.

How do I register for camp?

Registration is done solely online via online payment. Once you are registered you will receive a confirmation email with all details regarding schedule, equipment needs, etc.

Is there additional paperwork once I've registered for camp?

If you filled out the online medical waiver you do NOT have to fill 0ut additional paperwork.

How many goalkeepers will be attending camp?

We will have a maximum of 1:8 coach to goalkeeper ratio to ensure he/she receives the focus and coaching they deserve. We feel confident this is an ideal ratio so a goalkeeper does not get lost in the numbers.

Will food or drinks be provided throughout camp?

No food will be provided at camp. We will provide hydration stations so they can stay hydrated for the entirety of camp. Parents are highly encouraged to take their child to lunch in between session 1 and session 2.

Will a certified athletic trainer be present throughout camp?

Yes, we will have a certified athletic trainer with years of experience in the sport of soccer.

What should I bring/wear to camp?

Each goalkeeper must bring their own ball and their own goalkeeper specific gloves. We highly recommend standard cleats and a long sleeve shirt, as well as goalkeeper pants. That being said, dress appropriately for the weather forecasted.

Can parents attend and observe camp?

Parents are highly encouraged to watch all sessions. We will have viewing spaces clearly marked.  Parents are also highly encouraged to attend the college recruiting panel between session 1 and session 2.

Will evaluations be provided at the camp?

Evaluations will not be provided at camp. That being said, we are encouraging to reach out post-camp after we have collected our notes for a quick phone call.
